We feel that excellent business ethic is based on honesty and transparency. That’s why it’s vital for both the home owner and contractor team to fully understand the process before starting on a project. We prefer to be up front with our costs – rather than come in with a low bid and then come back later with additional costs and extras. Our business is based on building strong, honest relationships and this is why our clients prefer us as their trusted contractor.

 

Starting Your Design

Our in house designer will create the shell of your home including exterior /  interior walls, stair location, kitchen/ bathrooms, closets, floor and roof systems. Once the layout is completed, we partner with a handful of selected interior designers who work their magic on curating the styling of your home. If you already have a designer in mind, let us know and we can explore that option too. Once our project is designed and budgeted, we then import the project into our construction management software Buildertrend and were ready to get started.

Home construction can be a very complex and stressful experience. From poor planning and lack of communication to contractors never showing up, Maxwell Developments strives to create a Clear and Seamless process to every construction project, doing it right the first time. Before we start any construction project, it’s vital for both the homeowner and contractor team to fully understand the existing structure and systems of the proposed project. Below you will find our MWD process.

1 / The Initial Inquiry

2 / Project Discovery

Phase 1

Zoning Analysis – Confirms proposed project conforms to municipal bylaws

Phase 2

In depth discovery of your existing homes structure, systems, new design and budget

3 / Construction to Completion

  • We have an excellent understanding of your existing home and systems and have built an accurate scope to get us to your desired outcome.
  • We have captured the clients vision and we are all on the same page with budget and timeline expectations
  • Upload complete package into our cloud based Project management software Buildertrend.
  • Once building permits are submitted, work closely with us and our interior designers to pick your beautiful finishes
  • Permits received, now we schedule the project and begin work.
  • Even after the 12 month warranty has expired, if you have an issue, please call us, we’ll do our best to help!

4 / Continuing Care

We are all about developing long-lasting relationships!

Even after your project has finished, we will continue to look after you! We will set up 3, 6 and 12 month follow ups to ensure your complete satisfaction with our work – we want to build your next project too!
